Focal Beads

 

Here you will find my focal beads which include my hearts,

I just love making these and if you

don’t see one you like then get in touch

and I can make one in your colour choice, please keep in

mind that every bead is individual and so there will be variations

in its style and decoration.

 

All my beads have been kiln annealed in my digitally controlled

kiln to remove stresses caused by the working of the glass

this gives them strength and durability.

 However, this does not mean they are completely

unbreakable, they are made from glass you know!

Ivory heart with a lovely transparent teal shoulder! With silvered ivory stringer decoration giving the web effect around the teal glass also murrini decoration on the opposite shoulder (and an added bonus around the back too), a little shell effect down the centre to finish this beachy theme.

Size: 28mm long x 23mm across the shoulders (hole to hole)

Transparent lavender glass sit top and bottom of this heart with a central white band which has dots and trails of lilac, reminescent of a trail of spells ***~~~***  from a delicate faerie wand!!! The heart is very dainty and has 2 pretty dotty lavender spacer beads to compliment it.

Length: 27mm x 16mm (across the widest top of the heart)

Spacers: 12mm approx.

I have here my first Angel Heart for you to purchase, Sugar Plum Angel is a winged heart made with CIM Plum with transparent lavender wings. There is a  3 white dot flower decoration on the front of the heart and a murrini decoration on the front and on the back.

Size: 25mm from top to bottom (as the hole runs) x 35mm from wing tip to wing tip (the heart its self is only 20mm across)

This focal was made using the same colours as my Blue Tweet Tweet set from my Camouflage Mayhem series. It is a long teardrop shaped bead with bands of yellow, green and pale blue with my irregular dot decoration also using black and white.

Size: 35mm x 16mm (at the widest point at the base)

Red CIM Sangre Heart with white dot decoration spiralling around the back and a Windmill type decoration on the front which is slightly off towards one side of the heart. 

I did have fun making this one especially with all those dots around the back too.

Gosh I am so pleased with this beautiful shard covered focal bead!  Made using CIM Grumpy Bear blue glass with  DH Triton shards made by Kitzbitz Glass.  Reduced in the flame (proprane riched flame) to produce this silvered blue mirror shine.The grumpy bear has also been added to by the flame by giving a green hue between the shards.  

Continents is a tab style bead with 2 Triton silvered spacer beads
